• Disposable contact lenses, sometimes known as planned replacement lenses, are the most widely fit lenses today. They promote better eye health, as you are disposing of your lenses on a regular basis, therefore freeing yourself from wearing lenses with protein build-up. Disposable contact lenses are made in both daily or extended wear styles, and are available in daily, monthly, and quarterly disposable schedules.
• Toric contact lenses are specially designed contact lenses that correct an astigmatism, which occurs when the surface of the cornea is not perfectly round (the cornea has a football shaped surface). They are also available in disposable styles.
• Color contact lenses can enhance the natural color of light eyes (make blue eye bluer) or actually change your natural eye color!
• Bifocal contact lenses are available for those individuals who are experiencing signs of presbyopia, the natural aging process of the eye that makes it difficult to focus on objects up-close. They are also available in disposable styles.
• Gas Permeable contact lenses, also known as hard contact lenses, are available in single vision, bifocal and toric styles.
• Specialty fits some individuals who have under gone refractive surgery, or who have Kerataconus may require a more extensive fitting and style of lens.
