Jackie McFadden Bio  
Jackie began in the optical field while serving as a Red Cross volunteer in San Antonio, TX in 1976. She helped keep a military optical clinic open in San Vito, Italy by training and assisting a military technician. She continued optical work in Panama City, FL before landing in Tucson in 1985. Jackie completed her associate’s degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing Technology, from Pima Community College, plus passed both the American Board of Opticianry and Arizona State Licensing exams, in 1987. Jackie joined Alvernon Optical, Inc. in 2004 and has thoroughly enjoyed her experiences in the optical industry and serving clients in the Tucson community.
